Collection: David Rankin

David Rankin OAM (b. 1946) is an Australian artist and printmaker whose work explores spirituality, nature, and the human condition through a deeply personal visual language. Largely self-taught, he developed his practice by studying the great masters and Buddhist philosophy before emerging as a leading figure in Australian contemporary art in the late 20th century. Rankin’s prints are celebrated for their lyrical abstraction and powerful sense of rhythm, reflecting his lifelong engagement with culture, history, and the natural world.
