Collection: Elizabeth Hickey

Elizabeth Hickey is a visual artist living on the Mornington Peninsula. After years of travelling and living in various countries, she settled in Australia, where she completed a BFA in printmaking at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2012.
Her work primarily involves intaglio and relief processes. She loves printmaking for the physical manipulation of the plate — it is a constant collaboration with the materials.
At the heart of her practice is a love of drawing and the challenges that printmaking brings to the process of creating an image. Much of her subject matter comes from the things around her and from a deep fascination with the natural world.
