Evan Shipard is a classically trained artist who has spent over two decades refining his craft within the global film and entertainment industries. His work is deeply rooted in themes of history, mythology, beauty, and the human condition—each piece a study in drama, atmosphere, and meticulous draftsmanship.

Drawing inspiration from the luminous brushwork of the Australian Impressionists, Evan seeks to capture light and emotion with every stroke, carrying forward their legacy with both passion and precision.

Working across traditional media including oil painting, drawing, and printmaking, Evan develops his practice both en plein air and in his studio south of Sydney, drawing constant inspiration from the landscapes around him.
