Helga Salwe is a Melbourne-based documentary photographer whose work reveals the quiet beauty found in everyday people, places, and communities. Her thoughtful, observant style has attracted a wide range of clients, including The Age, the Australian Conservation Foundation, and Text Publishing.

Salwe’s work has been exhibited extensively and is held in both private and public collections, including the National Portrait Gallery of Australia, the National Library of Australia, and the Epworth Art Foundation. She holds a Master of Contemporary Art from the Victorian College of the Arts.
