Kelly Stuart

Kelly Stewart is a Sydney-born printmaker and illustrator now based in Edinburgh, UK. She studied Visual Design (with a focus on illustration) and discovered a passion for screenprint during her studies.

Since relocating to the UK in 2000, she joined Edinburgh Printmakers around 2001, and has built a body of work that layers architectural drawing, mark-making, collage, and occasionally animal and landscape subjects. Her prints often comprise multiple layers (sometimes 15 or more) and combine opaque and translucent inks for depth and texture.
